Hello, my name is Roman Denisov. Soon I'll be eleven. I was born on April 16, 2007 in a little Russian City called Kursk.

Kursk is a very beautiful city. It has many parks and is surrounded by rich green forests. There is even a nature
reserve - "Steppe Musketeers." Everything breathes life and beauty... Unfortunately, it can't be  said about my health.

You see, during my mom's labor I had suffered a sever injury, which led to a damage to my cervical spine and a horrible
diagnosis - Cerebral Palsy. (Cerebral Palsy - a collective term for a group of chronic non-progressive motor disorders symptom,
secondary to lesions or anomalies of the brain arising in the perinatal period. Cerebral palsy is not a hereditary disease.)

My only wish today is to grow up healthy and strong, so that I can take a walk in the park holding my mom's hand,
join my dad on his fishing trip, pet our kitten, play with other kids in the park... I wish I could run through the field
and play football with other - healthy - boys. I'd love nothing more than to be able to tell my parents just how much
I love them, and how much I appreciate all their loving care and sacrificing they made for me throughout these five,
very difficult years of my life. I wish I could... but I can't do any of that! The only way I can show my gratitude to
my parents is by quietly smiling at them.

Our relatives and friends went above and beyond supporting our family throughout this ordeal. With deepest gratitude,
we accepted help of all the people who were not indifferent to our misfortune. But the possibilities of our environment
are not unlimited - it's more and more difficult to collect necessary funds to pay for endless expenses.

My parents invest every penny in getting me the best treatment they can afford. After giving me a birth, my mom
never had a chance to return to her job as I need continuos attendance and cannot sit or eat on my own.
My treatments are not only stressful and labor-some, they are also incredibly expensive.
And my dad is the only breadwinner... Needless to say, we are running out of money faster,
than bills from my visits to hospitals and rehabilitation centers piling up.

This is my Cry for Help.
It is not easy for my family to ask for donations, but it is our last resort as our resources here
at home are very limited, and basically coming to the end. I am asking you to please donate as
much or as little as you can so that I can afford traveling from one clinic to another, and continue
to receive all sorts of absolutely necessary treatments and massages in my quest for a good health and normal life.

Thank you in advance for your kind generosity and support. Every contribution means
so much to me and takes me closer to getting better.
